Ao longo do meu percurso profissional como psicólogo tenho vindo a intervir e a especializar-me na área clínica e, em particular, no campo da psicoterapia de inspiração psicanalítica.
Tenho particular interesse no trabalho psicoterapêutico com os vínculos interpessoais e a sua relação com o perfazer do mundo interno: suas dinâmicas, phantasias, tragédias e transformações; quer este trabalho seja realizado ao nível individual, como nas psicoterapias individuais face-a-face, ou em grupo como nas psicoterapias de casal, de familía ou, ainda, no âmbito da análise institucional.
Tenho como referência as obras e os trabalhos psicanalíticos de Bion, Klein, Fairbairn, Meltzer e Grotstein, bem como os contributos de grupo e família de Kaes, Tisseron, Faimberg, Eiguer, Bengozi, Scharf, Mary Morgan e outros.
